You have to hand it to Biden, Nancy Pelosi, Chrissy Houlahan and Madeleine Dean. They got the economy unified. It is unified in getting worse. A Gallup poll showed just 2% of Americans think it is excellent while 80% say the economy is poor or fair. 42% say poor. On top of that, 76% think the economy is getting worse. The economy is a dumpster fire that Biden and the Democrats created.
Just want to say kudos to Joao Bradley Construction on their daily restoration activities to Laurelwood Road at the conclusion of their workday. The road is always in very passable condition devoid of ruts, bumps, or depressions each and every evening without fail no matter how long it takes. A first-class effort every night!
Robert Minninger is thanking State Rep. Tim Hennessey for passing the women’s sports act. I wish he was thanking him for passing HB76 which would eliminate property taxes for seniors. Hennessey said he would support the bill, but at the last minute backed out. He has been in Harrisburg forever and has no ideas for this problem.
Biden is in cognitive decline and his progressive Democratic handlers are making terrible decisions that are quite harmful to the American people with respect to out-of-control inflation, the out-of-control southern border and out-of-control crime. Attempts to destroy the fossil fuel industry, nonrenewal of Title 42 and defunding the police and placing liberal DAs in big Democratic-controlled cities are a few examples of their failing decisions.
Phew! According to a few Sound Off comments this morning, we dodged a bullet in 2020 when President Trump was voted out of office. We dodged 4 more years of 1.5% inflation, $2.80 a gallon gas, lower Covid deaths, botched withdrawals for Afghanistan, no Russian invasions, and peace accords in the Middle East. Thankfully we now have 8.5% plus inflation, more Covid deaths, $4.29 a gallon of gas and so much more.
I’ve never felt Disneyworld’s ‘private government’ was proper. Still, “… corporations are people, too….” Having taken a free speech stance against a Florida GOP policy (ie, they didn’t sue or take any other proactive action), the state GOP legislature has chosen the ‘cancel culture’ option in reprisal, to rescind that long-standing Florida government acceptance of Disneyworld as a ‘municipality’. Can you say hypocrisy?
Headlines in April 20 Epoch Times – Arizona border sheriffs expect more Cartel crime once Title 42 revoked, CIA knew early on (Feb. 2017), Data tying Trump to Russia was Fake, 20 federal assets embedded at Capitol January 6th, Advocates say girls are The main target of transgender movement … These stories and the “Racial Grievance Industry” are what is wrong with our country … not me and you!
Dis-Info Depot: Don’t need vaguely referenced ‘data’ from overseas or phony studies of children (citation?). Plenty of evidence here at home in American hospitals, homes and mortuaries. Bluntly, you and other anti-vax cultists are likely responsible for more deaths of the unvaccinated and those they infected than any deaths from adverse vaccination effects you can cite. “The more you wax, the less immunity you have.” You expect us to believe that absurdity?
Looks like Kevin McCarthy is in a bad spot. After saying Trump should resign, he claimed he never said that. Then out came the recording. But I think he’ll be OK because he crawled to Mar-a-Lago to beg for forgiveness. Trump loves to see people grovel.
For a nationally syndicated commentary columnist, Steve Roberts must be living under a rock when he writes about Trump and “big lies.” Even his mainstream media nut sacks have been reporting the evidence implicating Hillary, the DNC, Big Tech Social Media, and mainstream news outlets all conspired to sabotage and spy on Donald Trump pre- and post-election. Old Stevie-boy hasn’t pursued the honest truth in decades. Nobody expects him to start now.
This is to the ghost rider who says how do you think we make electricity? Let me educate you a little bit — we make electricity from solar panels, wind turbines, hydropower plants, and nuclear power plants.
David M, you crack us up, dude! After almost two years of fawning over Sleepy Joe, and hundreds of irrational Sound Offs that ooze illogical, irrational, and low intelligence progressive gibberish, you’re now trying to backtrack by saying you don’t like Joe Biden? Sorry clown, but that doesn’t fly with normal people. Just admit you were wrong and beg forgiveness. Republicans welcome new members. You just have to atone for your past sins.
Batdorf is at it again. Their marker for religious devotion is the amount donated to the church or the tithe. Not actions of devotion. Where in the Bible does it say to be devout to god you must pay, this is why church congregations are declining. Batdorf, seek help and ask for forgiveness.
My dearest Jay Miller, no one gets repeated polio vaccinations. Why? Because the polio vaccine worked. The same can’t be said for the China Virus jab.
Patriot45, Joe Biden didn’t give the Taliban anything. We left billions in arms for the Afghanistan army, which handed it over to the Taliban. It would have been the same if Don Con hadn’t blown a winnable election out his rear. We did the same in Vietnam, we left millions in arms to the South Vietnamese army which gave it to the North Vietnamese army, which used it against Cambodia. Still Biden’s fault though.
Three cheers for Elon Musk! He is on the verge of sealing the deal with Twitter. It will be a huge victory for free speech and democracy when he takes over Twitter. Elon Musk is not a conservative, but rather a libertarian who knows the value of free speech. By allowing free speech to flourish on Twitter, Facebook and others will have to follow Musk’s leadership.
I think President Biden has made numerous missteps regarding the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Biden should have supplied more lethal aid earlier to Ukraine, and he should have slapped his sanctions on Putin before, not after the invasion. However, I agree with Biden’s decision to reject calls for a no-fly zone. That would be direct US involvement in the conflict, and the ramifications are unpredictable.
There was a time when everyone thought that California was home to all that was crazy. Not anymore! Texas, led by Crazy Greg Abbott, is banning books, making up border issues and costing Texas millions of dollars. Deranged Desantis is trying to put Disney out of business because they didn’t support his anti-gay bills. That will cost them a ton of money. If you don’t go woke, you will end up broke.
Congratulation Chrissy Houlahan for your voting record and for your service to our country! Keep up the good work.
The identity of the White House Easter Bunny who tells Biden what to say has been revealed: Meghan Hays, the White House director of message planning. Not sure how many votes Meghan Hays got, but she sure didn’t run many campaign ads, because I never heard her name before.
I know everyone’s overwhelmed trying to survive crisis after crisis caused by Geriatric Joe, but if you haven’t noticed, mortgage interest rates have doubled since 80 million voters (yeah, right) made their fatal mistakes. Just another brick in that Biden wall that keeps American prosperity at bay. Dems be tripp’n!
The rationale for “broken windows” policies is simple. If perpetrators are not held liable, vandalism increases, the bar for prosecutions rises and crime migrates to areas previously unscathed. In the interest of restorative justice, soft-on-crime Progressives, in our own backyard, have delivered each outcome. The associated increase in violent crime comes amid attempts to restrict gun ownership by the law-abiding.
If Twitter was so great why is the looney left having a meltdown over Elon Musk buying it? I know why now everyone will be heard not just the Dems. I’m glad the First Amendment is alive and well.
I want to thank all those who voted for Joe Biden. Thank you for increasing my mom’s retirement home rent by 11.5%. Her Social Security went up by 5.9% but one-third of that was taken by Biden’s record Medicare increase. So thank you for voting for inflation.
Are there any countries that tax their citizens and send that money to the USA? Just wondering.
